Pronounced ‘ihmbolk’ What is it? The Observance of the half way point between Christmas and the beginning of Spring. Celebrated on the 1 – 2 days of February. Associated with the great Irish Goddess St. Brigid. Imbolc means “in the belly” and signifies Brigid’s role as a goddess of creativity. I urge you to stir your inner cauldron of creativity, regardless of gender, that exists within each of us.
During these long dark days of winter, Imbolc encourages us to get creative, reignite our energy and passion for life.
